Loved this book! Sat down and didn't get back up until I read the whole thing. Patty Stevens was a special woman and I think everyone knew her in our hometown. She was a safe place for all of us kids and this book lets her heart shine through! I can not wait for her next book!

I have never really enjoyed a collection of short stories before- I purchased this on a whim after hearing the interesting story of how this book came to be. And, I loved reading this collection! Patty Stevens writes in a such a way that it captivates you and you want more! It helps that she has led an interesting life! I also enjoyed the juxtaposition of very short observations mixed in with short stories. I looked forward to picking this up to read each time!
